Meet Our Medical Director

Dr. Ubong Attah Prince, ND

Licensed naturopathic physician · 13+ years in practice

“I want people to feel more informed, more confident, and better equipped to advocate for their own well-being.”

About Dr. Prince

Dr. Ubong Attah Prince is a licensed naturopathic physician with over 13 years of clinical experience and a graduate of Sonoran University of Health Sciences. Her practice spans family medicine, with a special focus on chronic illness, weight management, hypertension, diabetes, women's health, and pain management.

Her approach centers on one question: why is this happening? Rather than managing symptoms alone, she works to identify and address the underlying causes of disease, making patients active partners in their own healing.

Before medicine, Dr. Prince was a celebrity chef and nationally recognized entrepreneur, a background that still shapes her advocacy for whole, unprocessed foods and practical health education.

Why HealSoma

I believe people should have greater access to the tools and information they need to understand their own health. Too often, people are left navigating symptoms without fully understanding what's happening in their bodies or what questions they should be asking.

What excites me about HealSoma is the opportunity to make testing more accessible, understandable, and actionable, empowering people to take a more active role in their health and make informed decisions alongside qualified healthcare professionals.

What Physician Oversight Means for You

Laboratory testing isn't simply about ordering tests and receiving numbers. It's about making sure testing is appropriate, understanding the limitations of those tests, and recognizing when results may warrant additional evaluation. Physician oversight ensures that testing through HealSoma takes place within an appropriate clinical framework, not as a purely transactional service.

A Root-Cause Approach to Testing

Functional testing provides objective information that, when considered alongside someone's medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, and clinical presentation, can help identify potential contributing factors. No single laboratory test tells the whole story. The goal isn't simply to collect more data. It's to use appropriate, clinically meaningful information to guide better decisions.

Her Vision

I hope HealSoma helps shift healthcare from something people passively receive to something in which they actively participate. People shouldn't need an extensive medical background to understand their lab results or feel empowered to ask informed questions about their health. My hope is that HealSoma makes health information more accessible, less intimidating, and easier to understand, while maintaining the clinical safeguards that responsible healthcare requires.

Clinical Governance

How We Govern Clinical Quality

Dr. Prince leads the clinical governance behind every part of HealSoma.

Licensed Provider Review

Lab reviews on HealSoma are completed by licensed providers. Dr. Prince oversees this provider network, setting the clinical standards every reviewer follows so each review meets the same level of care.

Education Within Scope

Our wellness partners offer clinical education and support, never diagnosis or treatment. Dr. Prince governs the educational frameworks partners use, keeping guidance accurate, consistent, and within each practitioner's scope.

Physician-Defined Protocols

From which tests are offered to how results are reviewed and communicated, every step follows physician-defined protocols, so testing never happens outside a clinical framework.
